To protect you from blue-violet light, Mont-Royal has developed Ideal Protect 2.0. This protection can be added to your lenses to offer the following benefits:
Reduction of visual fatigue symptoms that may occur after extended use of digital devices*
Protection against the long-term dangers of UV rays
Filtration of blue-violet light*
* Complete UV protection is integrated into the lens, filtering at least 20% of blue-violet light between 400 and 455 nm, as specified by ISO standard TR20772:2018. Blue-violet light is blocked 100% up to 404 nm for lens indices 1.6 and 1.67, and up to 402 nm for index 1.5. On the front side of the lens, UV rays are blocked 100% up to 380 nm.
